bemyfriends Unveils the Future of Live Streaming with Data Ownership and Global Fan Engagement

  • bemyfriends introduces a global live streaming feature to b.stage to help owners such as K-Pop artists, eSports teams, creators, and others communicate with their fans.
  • b.stage owners will be able to interact closely with fans in live chats and maintain full ownership of the live streaming data.
  • Including existing features such as surveys, community boards, and live streaming, additional features to increase fan engagement on b.stage are expected in the future.

SEOUL, Korea - February 15, 2023 - Today, the global fandom business company bemyfriends announced that it added a global live streaming feature to b.stage, the company’s web-based SaaS solution. The move is aimed at enhancing fan engagement and bringing the global fandom business market to the next level.

b.stage, a hero solution developed by bemyfriends, is a bespoke platform builder. It has features that help corporate and personal brands, artists, creators, and IP holders build their own platforms and communicate more closely with their super fans all over the world. Content management, membership services, global eCommerce, and community management are only a few of the features offered on b.stage.

b.stage owners, including K-Pop artists, eSports teams and creators, will be able to use live streaming according to their own needs. They will be able to broadcast different types of live content, like large-scale concerts and online fan meetings, while communicating with fans through live chatting. In addition, since the platform is wholly owned by the owner, they can live stream freely at any time they want. The same applies to data generated on the platform, which they can make use of as they wish without having to share it externally. This, along with the availability of consulting from experts at bemyfriends when planning and operating broadcasts, is the major benefit of live streaming on b.stage.

b.stage's all-in-one solution provides all the features needed to run a fandom business in one place, which can help owners get the most out of their live streams. For example, b.stage's Ticket feature allows owners to monetize their live streams by selling tickets independently instead of relying on external ticketing sites. Each feature, including tickets, live streaming, and content, is interconnected to enhance the user solution's usability. This reduces operational costs by eliminating the need for owners to use additional platforms.

"Fandom business starts where fans gather, so the most important thing is for business owners and fans to communicate closely and form authentic relationships," says Brice Lee, co-CEO of bemyfriends. "We will continue to enhance b.stage with various features like live streaming to enhance fan engagement. We will help owners easily build their own platform to communicate with fans, strengthening relationships and creating added value through b.stage."

bemyfriends has targeted the global market and strived to advance the fandom business with the official launch of b.stage in April 2022. Since then, the company has continued to diversify the fandom business model on b.stage by continuously updating the solution with new features, like surveys and tickets, to encourage fan communication and participation. Through these efforts, bemyfriends plans to become a leader in the global fandom business market by providing various solutions and services to strengthen the relationships with fans.
